I like to read and always do when taking public transportation–although admittedly I don’t take public transportation that often anymore. I can say with all honesty too that while I’m reading I likely show whatever emotion I am feeling by my facial expression, to a point. It’s rare a book would make me lose it, either crying or laughing, and I thought this was an interesting post about when emotions rise while you’re reading on public transportation.
This post just made me smile and felt very reassuring for future homeschooling years.
A list of kid friendly Chicago art museums? Sounds good to me! We’ve been to the Art Institute and the DePaul Art Museum and I can say with all honesty I thought the rating for those two were fair and accurate.
Being amused is one of my favorite emotions and I was definitely amused seeing the inside of Dr. Oz’s fridge. I’m not really sure why, either, but I was.
I don’t love a lot of things about my apartment—the carpet, the blue bathroom, the never-ending messes—so I loved this post about working around the clutter.
And because all posts should have a picture…

Happy weekend!
